TAPE is an incorporated electrology organization consisting of professional electrologists. Electrolysis is the only proven method for permanently removing unwanted hair. In TAPE’s service to the dedicated, professional electrologist, some of its fundamental objectives include the following:

• To recognize electrologists as permanent hair removal specialists, incorporating the highest standards of education, ethics, and practical expertise
• To provide continuing education opportunities for electrologists
• To encourage all members to become Certified Professional Electrologists
• To support adherence to the Center for Disease Control guidelines for the safe practice of electrolysis
• To support compliance with the AEA membership standards and Infection Control Standards
• To inform the public and our members about new innovations and discoveries affecting our profession
